Weekend Vibes | Anejo Cantina & Target Swim 2019!
Can i just say how necessary this 3 day weekend was? My goodness, I was so exhausted from the work week, I am just so happy to relax.
Friday night
Traffic leaving the westside of LA was insane. It took me 20 minutes to cross one street. After finally making it across the street I decided to relax at Starbucks until traffic died down. I just couldn’t do it. It turned out that two of the canyon routes were closed due to all the rain from the week, which forced all the traffic into the small city roads. This is why i tell people to not move to LA. While waiting out traffic I was upset with myself for not bringing my laptop to work, (THE ONE DAY I DECIDED TO NOT TO), but ended up gettin’ busy by writing out some upcoming plans. Let’s just say I have a lot in store for this blog but if I could just bring myself to frickin do it all that would be great *ends rant *
After sitting at Starbucks for 2 hours I decided to finally head home. It took me 20 minutes to get home and I was still able to keep my sanity. I call this a win win situation. Wanting to go to the gym, I of course laid down on my couch and knocked out. Yep, that was my thrilling Friday night.
Saturday
Saturday morning, I for some reason was up at 3am and decided to watch the Soulja Boy Breakfast club interview, oh my goodness. That was a hilarious video. After laying on the couch and being unproductive for HOURS I finally got up and did my laundry. During that time my cousin came over and we made breakfast and decided happy hour was a place we could see ourselves at on that fine Saturday afternoon. We riled up the gang and had a fabulous afternoon sippin margs and enjoying each other’s company.
Of course three drinks into the early night we couldn’t end there, so we decided to hit up the hookah lounge in Hollywood. It’s been a pretty minute since I’ve actually done hookah and let’s just say.. I think I’m better off without it * inserts laughing emoji face * Five minutes into smoking, I had already coughed and messed up my throat. It was great. I came to the conclusion that my hookah days are most likely over.
Sunday
Sunday morning I debated with myself for an hour if I wanted to go to church and decided to just get up and go. It was a great service so I am happy I went. Getting there just always seems to be a mental struggle for me , can anyone relate?
After church I went by my grandparents and enjoyed the afternoon with them. We also went to Target. TARRRGETTTT * Soulja Boy voice * and hung out there for an hour or so. The swimsuit section from Target is SOOO Cute. Definitely thinking about doing a haul soon.. maybee… stay tuneddddd.
