Profusion Cosmetics: Mixed Metals Glam Palette Review
Profusion Cosmetics has been around for over 20 years but has been popping up all over the internet over the past year. Profusion Cosmetics can be found all over the place from TJ Maxx/Marshalls and Ross to Walmart and Target. I’ve been super curious to try out one of the palettes so I picked up a few from TJ Maxx and Walgreens.
If you’re no stranger to my YouTube channel, you’ve probably seen the One Palette Tutorial on the Profusion Basic palette (if you haven’t seen it, you can watch it, here). After being not so impressed by that palette I wanted to give the brand another try so today we are trying out the Profusion Cosmetics Mixed Metals Glam Palette.
What caught my eye about this palette was the packaging but also a couple of the colors. The colors, Interest, Cookie, and Glam really stood out to me.
What also stood out to me was the price! You can find this palette along with lip liner, an eyeshadow brush at lip gloss at TJ Maxx for $7.99!!
After testing out the palette on my channel I can say that I liked it but didn’t love it. It reminded me a lot of the Wet n Wild Comfort Zone Palette and the Morphe Jaclyn Hill palette. The only thing was this palette had only half the pigmentation.

If you’re new to makeup and want to test out some makeup then I could see you picking this palette up. If you’re a makeup enthusiast, like myself, looking for a new affordable super pigmented eyeshadow palette, this one isn’t it. The color payoff was nice with a wet eyeshadow brush but on it’s own, it struggled to show up on my skin. All in all, it was an okay palette, but we still made it work and I can see myself digging back in it just because of those few colors I really liked.
What are your thoughts? Would you pick up this palette?
