ONE PALETTE TUTORIAL #1: L.A. Girl Haute Haute Heat Palette

L.A. Girl dropped a couple of fire palettes this summer 2019. This Vacay Everyday palette was the one that caught my eye immediately! With 16 shades it’s very versatile and easy to create many different looks with this palette without reaching for another one. I thought this would be would be the perfect palette to kick off my One Palette Tutorial series.

One Palette Tutorial Series: a series of YouTube videos showcasing different makeup looks using only one palette. Intention is to help others create looks without using multiple palettes.

I’m excited to start this One Palette Tutorial Series. The reason behind this series is that I have a lot of eyeshadow palettes that I don’t use.. I need to put these palettes to use guys, it’s beyond ridiculous! Stay tuned for my Eyeshadow Collection video. It’s going to be insane.

But back to the this palette! Idk if it’s just me but this palette totally reminds me of the Huda Beauty Palettes and I’m here for it.. because it’s probably a third of the price!

When it comes to LA Girl Products I have been pleasantly surprised for this beauty supply turned drugstore brand. The foundations are good and the concealers are a staple in the community. So now that we have an eyeshadow palette to test I was like this could really go either way but to my surprise the shadows were actually pretty PIGMENTED!

I have created a pictorial here for you to see how the palette works. Check out my YouTube video as well to watch how the colors blend!

1. ADD CONCEALER

Use concealer to prep your eyes for eyeshadow. This is the first step to creating a nice base.

1B. ADD POWDER

Use a translucent powder to set the concealer to your eyes. You need this for a nice smooth base.

2. BLEND “VOYAGE” INTO CREASE AREA

Most blending brushes will work for this, one of my faves is the Morphe M433 Pro Firm Blending Fluff Brush.
