5 Garnier Skincare Products That Are Clearing My Skin This Summer!

Garnier SkinActive line is one of those drugstore products that we see but don’t always gravitate towards. Personally, I’ve usually been more of a Neutrogena or Biore type of gal but I was able to score a lot of products with coupons from CVS so I thought I would give them a try!

I must say at first I wasn’t overly impressed because of how gentle the cleansers are. Again I’m used to Neutrogena Deep Clean and Biore Deep Pore Charcoal cleansers and those literally tingle your skin. So in my mind, if it’s not tingling it’s not working. But overtime this mindset has changed.

Overtime I started to notice something with the combination of these products: less breakouts and cleaner skin.

Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water - Oily Skin

I love to start my skincare routine off with either Micellar water or the Deep Gel Cleanser. Micellar water is great for taking the first layer of makeup off or for a quick morning cleanser in the morning.

Deep Pore Cleanser

This deep pore cleanser is very very gentle! It is effective when taking off your makeup but you must double cleanse. I’ve been using this to take my makeup off and clean my face and I like that it’s a gentle cleanser but I don’t like having to double cleanse to get everything off. I feel like this would be perfect for those who don’t wear too much makeup or have extremely sensitive skin but for heavy makeup wearers this won’t be a one stop shop.. It’s hard to say if I don’t completely like it though because my skin just may be enjoying a more gentle cleanser.

Scrub

Facial Mist

This facial mist is my faaaave. I like to use it right after washing my face and right before applying moisturizer. I will also use it to refresh my makeup throughout the day. It’s super lightweight and refreshing and the smell is so rosy and perfect.

Gel Cream

This gel cream leaves my skin feeling so rejuvenated and fresh! It is extremely lightweight and doesn’t leave a sticky tacky feeling on your face at all.
