Best Day Clubs in Las Vegas 2019
Want to know where the best pool parties and day clubs in Vegas? Look no further! Whether it’s EDM, Hip Hop, or a mixture of both, I got you covered!
The Las Vegas pool party season generally runs from March to November. During this time, many people from the spring breakers to summer vacationers flee to Las Vegas to soak up the sun while enjoying some tunes and a little sip sip.
From my experience, here are the peak times of the summer season:
March - April: Spring Break
May: Memorial Day Weekend
June - August: Busiest season (especially 4th of July)
September: Labor Day Weekend
I like to bring up the peak times of the season just as an FYI for those planning trips. The busier the weekend, the more planning around getting to the day club earlier and possibly having to pay, you’ll have to do. With that being said let’s talk about the parties!
Pool parties in Las Vegas generally consist of rocking’ your cutest swimsuit, having a beverage in hand, and hanging out in the water while enjoying music with your friends and meeting new people. The best pool parties I’ve been to are the ones that play the music I like to listen to. Whenever I go to a pool party I always plan around which artists will be playing at which clubs. While artists are welcomed to play at any venue they choose, I’ve noticed that some clubs generally bring in the same type of music acts based on genre.
Here are the Vegas pool parties broken down by music genre:
Hip Hop:
Daylight Beach Club at Mandalay Bay
Tao Beach at the Venetian
Drais Beachclub at the Cromwell Hotel
EDM:
Encore Beach Club at The Wynn
Wet Republic at MGM
Marquee DayClub at The Cosmopolitan
Liquid Pool at the Aria
Mixture:
Daylight Beach Club at Mandalay Bay
Encore Beach Club at The Wynn
Drais Beachclub at the Cromwell Hotel
Marquee DayClub at The Cosmopolitan
Another factor I consider when deciding which day club to go to is the actual layout and space of the day club. The most spacious day clubs (in my opinion) are:
Daylight
Encore Beach Club
Space matters especially when it’s hot outside and there’s tons of people outside. Generally the longer you’re at a pool party the wilder it gets since people have been drinking longer and more people are being let into the club. Keeping in mind the layout of the club helps me decide how long I’ll actually be at the day club and if I would want to be in a cabana instead of just the general area.
The day club that single-handedly gets packed the fastest is Tao by far. Time after time when I go to that day club I can never stay there longer than 30 minutes because the pool is extremely tiny and there’s not enough space to walk around and be comfortable. Don’t get me wrong, this is definitely the club to go to if you love hip hop and are able to score a table/cabana. If not, expect to squeeze into the small pool and jacuzzi and be crammed around a ton of people. The best part of going to Tao Beach is being able to relax in the Venetian pool after. I usually have a much better time in the Venetian Pool rather than at Tao Beach. But this is just my opinion.
On the flip side, Encore Beach Club and Daylight (previously mentioned before) are the two day clubs that have plenty of space and large enough pools for you to enjoy. Given that it’s not an insanely busy weekend, you should be able to enjoy your time at these pool parties in a spacious fashion.
