If you haven’t noticed yet, when it comes to makeup - 2024 is all about the skin prep, the brows, & the lashes. And brands continue to deliver products that help us makeup lovers achieve just that. Brands are also taking note of consumers searching for “healthier” or #CLEANER makeup formulas - & honestly I am here for it!
Gone are the days of obsessing over 60 new eyeshadow palettes and lip colors- unless you’re a Colourpop lover. It’s refreshing to see the basics being released as new makeup.

CoverGirl - Eye Enhancer 3D Mascara —> y’all know I love to try new mascaras, so I’m definitely adding this one to the list! The 50° curve fiber brush alone has me excited along with its plant-based keratin and lifting waxes. I’m curious to see how this compares to thrive causemetics!
CoverGirl - Lash Blast Cleantopia Waterproof Mascara —> another clean formula With 100% Cellulose plant fibers, Aloe Leaf extract, Vitamin E and Ceramide. The brush seems regular to me but I’m curious to see how this one turns out.
The Lips and Cheeks
NYX - Butter Gloss Bling Non-Sticky Lip Gloss - the lip gloss that we know and love is now relaunched with 8 beautiful sparkly colors. If you pick this up be sure to grab a moisturizing lip gloss to wear under it as well. my fave is city lips by city beauty.

The Face
L’Oreal - True Match Super-Blendable Powder —> I used to LOVE this as a powder to go over my makeup before setting. But judging by the comments the girls are saying they may have changed the formula? Which means I got to try it out myself to see if indeed it did change. I love the new packaging though. Fingers crossed the formula is still somewhat worth it.
